Filter Plater Material

1.PP is currently the most commonly used, namely high molecular polypropylene. This material is very resistant to various acids and bases, including the strongest acid hydrofluoric acid, and is well tolerated. However, the operating temperature range is relatively small. It can only withstand up to 70° of material for a short time.
2.PVDF is the best organic material with acid resistance and temperature resistance. The normal temperature resistance can reach 150°, but the alkali resistance is very poor.
3. Natural rubber filter plates, especially diaphragms, are good with natural rubber, good elasticity, but poor strength.
4. Aluminum filter plate, the lightest in all metal filter plates, but relatively less resistant to acidity.
5. Cast iron filter plate, heavy weight, poor acid resistance, high temperature resistance. Just the sealing surface, in fact, must also be made of organic materials, so there are certain limitations.
6. Stainless steel filter plate, good acid and alkali resistance, but the price is the largest among all filter plates, after all, the material itself is expensive, and the machining time is very large.
